Cooks Voyages

Cooks Voyages is an application I built for the National Library of Australia, running on a touch screen kiosk.

Its an interactive overview of the Endevour voyage. The app runs off an xml document, although I had to build a CMS in order to input all data into a database which then output the final XML document.

Built in flash, the breif was to create a interface that was simialr to google maps, so with the zoom features and ability to drag the map around. I used a KML file as reference for the journey. It was a little tricky programming it all in flash especially using such a large sized vector map.
